Meet Rearabilwe, the Creche’s Guide to Animals in South Africa!

Meet Rearabilwe, which is African for “prayers were answered" who is 5 years old. Rearabilwe will be our guide to the animals of South Africa.

Teaching pre-schoolers about animals not only helps them to recognize them, but helps them to recognize letters and sounds that go with identifying the animals. It’s also a way for children to communication short sentence structure describing animal sounds.

Kids begin to recognize how animals are categorized by where they live, what they eat, who is dangerous or stronger. Learning about animals can also help social skills, where children can make a game of the different sounds animals will make.
