Sophie’s Creche is having a Bake-off!
“We are the first Creche to have a ‘Make and Bake’ day in an oven, not on a 2 plate stove, or outside on a fire. We’re inside a house, inside a beautiful kitchen, how cool is that? Thank you!!!”
This is much more than a baking class. Part of the class curriculum at the creche involves weekly or month themes. One of them is to to have a “Make and Bake” day and a Music day to teach children valuable fine motor skills, like grasping or learning how to hold things.These classes teach valuable life skills, language and socialization skills, and help kids’ cognitive development within an instructive learning experience.
Through a supportive and encouraging environment, the children develop confidence, and curiosity when they are exposed to new activities and stimulation.
These skills are important in child development classes so kids can learn fundamental life skills such as using a keyboard, tying their shoe laces, holding a pencil, eating with utensils or buttoning a shirt.
