Learn How Sophie Distributes Clothes and Toiletries

Usually, Soul Sparkle Parcels contain only food and toiletries. But, these Parcels had something extra in them. It was planned that Sophie would arrive in America with only a small backpack so she could return home with two large suitcases filled with clothes.

Sophie wanted clothes and much needed sneakers for kids ages 1-15 years and Aid Africa’s Children held a clothes drive for her. Unfortunately, we didn’t collect sneakers because of their heavy weight and chose to help with clothes.

Here is an inside look of how Sophie’s distribution operation works to make sure that clothes and the toiletries are distributed to each Soul Sparkle. Watch older Soul Sparkles help sort through clothes and toiletries. Once clothes are sorted and folded they are placed in separate piles with the toiletries on the blanket according to age, name, and needs.

Hello LuAnn, it’s Friday, 6th of October, we are on a very short summer holiday. I tried to get hold of the Soul Sparkles, no one is here yet, but I am giving the things out. So we are packing them.
