“It Gives the Creche Some Dignity"

When Sophie asked for funds for mattresses the pre-schoolers were sleeping on the carpet. Nap time in Africa is the floor or a carpet, if you are lucky.

“Real" mattresses were too expensive. Instead, Sophie found 3 foam mattress offering a softer landing for the kids.

These 3 foam mattresses cost $44 and transformed nap time at Sophie’s Creche (nursery).

Sophie states, “the foam mattresses give the Creche some dignity.”

She says it makes her feel proud to be able to offer the mattresses for the kids. Parents definitely are surprised and take a second look when they see the mattresses.
